down under

mike spent a little over a week down under in august. he was there for work, but then spent a few days with our friend doug, who lives in port douglas, right on the great barrier reef. he took TONS of pictures, but i'm not going to put them all on here. that would take forever! so, here are the best of the best (by my opinion). most of the shots were taken in the daintree rainforest.

in case you're wondering, emily packed diego and rabbit into mike's backpack, so they are now well documented world travelers.



that last one has a crocodile in it, can you find it?
the next two are of vines that grow up around the trees. eventually the trees die as the vines take over.

mike had such a wonderful. we're looking forward to a time when all three of us can travel over together.
