fun with the budds
welcome back all of you. it's been about 10 days since i've added anything, and here i am. next time, maybe next weekend, i'll take some pictures of our new living room. we redecorated! woo hoo!
these first two pictures are of emily and me putting together one of her many puzzles. that's a big things these days. she's pretty quick too. she does better when mike and i aren't sitting next to her, and she's just working alone. i'm thinking about getting her a more challenging one to see how she does.
this next one will go down as the very first picture emily ever took. she was kind of waving the camera around which is why i'm leaning over funny.

here are mike and emily playing with blocks. they were banging the blocks together, like cymbals, and counting to the beat. it was cute and a little annoying, but what're you gonna do?

i just called this picture "peuter fun," because emily calls the computer the "peuter." she says, "let's look at emily on mommy's peuter." that means she wants to look at either photos of herself or video of herself on my computer. i think this particular evening we were actually playing a shapes games on the sesame street website. i suppose i should have made the bed before taking pictures, but once again, what're you gonna do?

these last two pics speak for themselves... emily coloring at the dining room table. i have about 12 of this same basic shot... don't you love digital cameras?

so, check back next weekend, and you may get a glimpse into our new living room. i'm sure you can hardly handle the anticipation! it's fresh on my mind because we just watched a woman and her son drive off with our old HUGE sectional piled high in the back her truck. it was a little sad. we really liked that couch, but it didn't fit very well in our living room.
love you all!
