february 2007 with the budds

sorry to any of you who have been anxiously awaiting the pictures of our new living room... but here you go. at last, eight pictures of the room and us in the room:




we do the best we can to take advantage of the few nice afternoons we get this time of year. here's emily posing in the front yard and riding her big wheel.



a couple of weeks ago, we took a short family trip to rockaway beach. the weather was lovely almost the whole weekend, chilly, but fairly dry. we got to spend quite a bit of time on the beach. emily had a ball digging in the sand. we also did some balancing on a big log. emily said, "this is dangerous," as she walked along holding mike's hand. she just kills me sometimes with cuteness! mike even got in on the balancing.



i'm going to end with a shout out to the quilt maker of the family, my mom! thanks so much mom! the quilt is beautiful, and the curtains look so great too! love you!!
