october fun!
happy november everyone! october seemed to fly by. it's hard to believe thanksgiving is only 18 days away. it's a fun time of year. but, before i get ahead of myself, i still have pictures from all of octocer to share!
emily was really trying to learn how to skip this month, and she's nearly there. as she concentrates on step-hop, step-hop, she forgets about her tongue, thus:

she also spent a lot of time posing for pictures this month... so here are some shots that either grandma or i snapped. some are cute, some are silly.

something else emily has really been learning to do this fall is play soccer. here are some shots of mike and emily kicking the ball around in the front yard.

riding her bike and big wheel has been a lot of fun too. the weather has been great for being outside, but when it's raining, she begs us to back the cars out so she can ride around in circles in the garage.

we also had a visit from grandma pat's sister, aunt donna, this month. she spent the day at OMSI with emily and me and stayed for dinner. it was a very fun day!

here's a cute smile i snapped one morning...

emily really enjoys taking pictures these days. here is one she snapped on a morning visit to grandma and grandpa's house.

on sunday the 28th we went to a pumpkin carving party at our friend's, the kendall-bray's, house. here is emily with their daughter hailey, and then with her daddy, in front of all the finished pumpkins.

here we are celebrating the big 40 on the afternoon of october 31st!

after opening presents and singing happy birthday, we went on our very first trick-or-treat outing. emily had a BALL! she got tons of candy.

i hope you all had a wonderful october and halloween like we did. i'll blog again soon with pics from the party.
love,
L
