Summer Update

sorry for taking so long to update the littlebudd blog.
however, the wait was worth it! i have a lot of cute pics for you to enjoy!

let's start with some early summer fun. first, pool time, then 4th of july at grandma pat's.

next, quite a few pics from our trip to rockaway beach. most won't need any explanation:

there were a number of sand castle/shell and rock mosaics art projects this year, as you'll see

playing in the waves was a priority, when it wasn't raining

not-so-littlebudd is catching some air! woo hoo! and aunt harvest and uncle scott stop for a photo moment...

confession time: the 7th harry potter book came out the day before we left, so i spent *a little* time reading ;)

back home, smiling in her bedroom

a trip to the zoo. the little statues all over the place are emily's favorite part of the zoo. she climbs on them, hugs them, kisses them, and simply LOVES them. you should see her at the mall, she feels the same way about the mannequins. it's strangely sweet.

here's em talking on daddy's phone and standing by the flag she made. she loves to pretend to talk to just about everyone she knows on the phone, and she's fascinated by flags, so she had to make one herself a few weeks ago.

then, we ended the summer with a labor day trip to multnomah falls. she especially loved the little foot bridge in the parking lot where we could see little tiny fish swimming around.


it just proves once again that i need to keep this updated, otherwise it takes me a LONG time to catch you all up. also, it's so hard to pick the pictures for this thing. there are so many cute pics! but, i think i've picked out the best of the best. i hope you enjoyed this posting. stay tuned, i promise it won't be long before i add some pics of emily in her new dance and soccer classes, as well as our trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday.
