christmas 2008

after our days at home in the snow, we finally ventured out on christmas eve to grandma pat and gregg's house. it felt so good to be out of the house!



now here we are christmas morning. yes, that's bailey's i'm pouring in my coffee at 7:30 am. it was that kind of christmas!



christmas afternoon, mike put the chains back on the car, then took them off, then put them back on again, as we went to grandma and grandpa's house. thank god for mike!



we stayed that night at my folks' house, then woke up and went out to look at and play in the snow! we also enjoyed a nice game of whack-a-mole.



because of the snow, the buchanan family party, which was in albany this year, was postponed from the 20th to the 28th. here are some of the pictures i took at the gill's house.



here are two shots of emily from the days following christmas. in one she's showing the pj's and slippers she got from great-grandma and great-grandpa buchanan. in the other, she's playing with the superstructs she got from the beekens.
